“Some times things just fall off your plate.”

“I wrote articles about rich athletes who, for the most part, could not care less about people like me. .. My days were full, yet I remained, much of the time, unsatisfied. What happened to me?”

“Make your friends a priority, so they are not lost to the black hole of a busy, hurried life.”

“Does it really take a full 9–5 to get our tasks done? Or … do we just “push paper,” masquerading as being productive while we are merely just running down the clock?”

“They refused to live in these moments right now. And they got busy in turning everything they come across, into a memory, which they could visit in the future.”

“But some relationships aren’t meant to last. They are worthy only till the time the two persons involved have time for each other. They do not know eternity. They live for the present, the “now”. And when distance plays it part, or life turns out to be busy, they fall apart. And may be that’s why they’re never termed “LOVE”. They simply remain what they were – mere RELATIONSHIPS.”

“What is wrong, and heartbreakingly foolish and wonderfully avoidable, is to live a life with more craziness than we want because we have less Jesus than we need.”

“Busy with the ugliness of the expensive success We forget the easiness of free beautyLying sad right around the corner, Only an instant removed, Unnoticed and squandered.”

“It is not enough to be busy; so are the ants. The question is: What are we busy about?”

“Work hard. Work dirty. Choose your favourite spade and dig a small, deep hole; located deep in the forest or a desolate area of the desert or tundra. Then bury your cellphone and then find a hobby. Actually, ‘hobby’ is not a weighty enough word to represent what I am trying to get across. Let’s use ‘discipline’ instead. If you engage in a discipline or do something with your hands, instead of kill time on your phone device, then you have something to show for your time when you’re done. Cook, play music, sew, carve, shit – bedazzle! Or, maybe not bedazzle… The arrhythmic is quite simple, instead of playing draw something, fucking draw something! Take the cleverness you apply to words with friends and utilise it to make some kick ass cornbread, corn with friends – try that game. I’m here to tell you that we’ve been duped on a societal level. My favourite writer, Wendell Berry writes on this topic with great eloquence, he posits that we’ve been sold a bill of goods claiming that work is bad. That sweating and working especially if soil or saw dust is involved are beneath us. Our population especially the urbanites, has largely forgotten that working at a labour that one loves is actually a privilege.”

“I wanted to figure out why I was so busy, but I couldn’t find the time to do it.”

“Some of us are busy doing things; some of us are busy complaining.”

“Those who are wise won’t be busy, and those who are too busy can’t be wise.”
